Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility
We recognise that our activities have a wider influence on our community and take account of our social, environmental and economic impacts. We are committed to sustainable development, to create sustainable communities where people want to live and work.
We support schools, charities and voluntary organisations in our community and focus our support on the regions of South Wales and West England, from Swansea to Bath, and within the surrounding Valleys.
How we achieve this
Our aim is to go over and above compliance with the minimum legal standards on social and environmental concerns. By doing this we address the interests of wider society whilst improving our business performance.
Working Conditions
We have good working conditions and promote diversity, in the workplace.
Community Partnerships
We contribute to community programmes by working with and promoting involvement in local partnerships and schemes.
Our Community Initiatives
We have created a range of opportunities to allow staff to contribute to the interests of wider society.
Recycling and Green Policies
We minimise our impact on the environment through our Recycling and Green Policies. We promote these and other sustainable initiatives and practices in the Office.
Annual Report
We collect the views of our stakeholders to make sure that our contributions to the Community are worthwhile. We give evidence in our Annual Report of the positive impact we have.
Procurement
Through our Procurement policies, we aim to treat suppliers fairly and support our community by sourcing local suppliers when appropriate.
