Our Procurement unit controls and co-ordinates buying all our goods and services and is responsible for our procurement strategies, policies and procedures.
We aim to get best value for money on all our purchasing requirements by accurately defining our needs. We then adopt a suitable procurement approach that delivers the right combination of cost and quality.

The nature and value of the goods or services determines the procurement approach. Usually, as a public sector organisation we will seek competition either:
- via direct approach to the market place, or
- use of established pre-tendered government frameworks eg OGC Buying Solutions.
