Why use this search?
With so many new and innovative products and processes under research or development it may be useful for any funding organisation to know what has already been done in a particular technology area.

- the area of the search;
- a list of documents considered most relevant;
- an assessment of the innovation or patentability of the planned project;
- a note of whether the planned project might infringe any of the patents identified in the search; and
- a record of the grant applicant’s relevant GB and EP(UK) patent applications.
Your search will be completed by one of over 200 science graduate patent examiners. This combination of technological and legal expertise will ensure that you receive an accurate report.

Cost and timings
Each grant assessment search costs £580 plus VAT and we will issue the report within 10 working days.
