Legislation

Copies of all legislation are obtainable from the Stationery Office Bookshops, or through the Stationery Office Publications Centre, telephone number 0171 873 9090. The legislation also appears on the HMSO website . Please note that this site shows legislation as made at the time. An unofficial consolidated version of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 (1.27Mb) is available.

Decisions

All the Tribunal's previous decisions and orders are available from the Secretary. A small photocopying charge is made for these documents. Significant Tribunal decisions are reported in Reports of Patent Cases and other publications.

Decisions of the Tribunal up to the end of 1996 are summarised in the following book, which also contains certain commentary on the Tribunal: "The Decisions of the UK Performing Right and Copyright Tribunal" by Michael Freegard and Jack Black, published by Butterworths. However, the opinions expressed in this book should not be taken as indicating the views of either the Tribunal or the Intellectual Property Office or the Department of Trade and Industry.

Practice Directions, and so on

Copies of the Tribunal's Practice Direction, and lists of previous Tribunal decisions and the names of the Tribunal's current Chairmen, Members and Secretary, are available from the Secretary.
